Ryan is an accent and dialect coach for actors, as well as working as an actor himself. He has worked with Oscar-winning actors, first-time performers and everything in between, on accents ranging from Standard British and American to Grimsby, Russian, Ohio, and Victorian Cockney. Ryan's 1-to-1 accent work involves improvisation, sound drills, and listening to native speakers to tune the ear to the accent.

In his short workshop, Ryan will outline the key sounds of a "General" American accent, what exactly "General" means, and which words trip actors up the most when performing with this accent.
