Carl Proctor

Carl Proctor ā€“ Casting Director (CDG) Carl Proctor is a highly experienced casting director with a rich background in both acting and casting. He trained as an actor at RADA and worked in theatre, film, and TV before transitioning to casting. His acting credits include Timon of Athens for the Royal Shakespeare Company at The Young Vic Theatre, directed by Trevor Nunn, and Glengarry Glen Ross at The Donmar Warehouse, directed by Sam Mendes. Carl has also produced one feature film, Mad Dogs, and directed and/or produced award-winning short films and theatre, including the West End rock ā€˜nā€™ roll musical Good Golly Miss Molly. As a casting director, Carl has worked extensively in film and TV, casting over 80 TV series or individual dramas and more than 40 films. Notable projects include Shadow of The Vampire with Willem Dafoe and John Malkovich, The Wedding Date with Deborah Messing, Amy Adams, and Dermot Mulroney, Blood Creek with Michael Fassbender and Henry Cavill, directed by Joel Schumacher, and Twelfth Night with Helena Bonham Carter, Ben Kingsley, Richard E. Grant, Imelda Staunton, and Nigel Hawthorne. He also cast over 70 British actors for The Bible Series, which became the most successful mini-series of all time after its release by 20th Century Fox.
