As an actor his credits include: Original Cast member in The Olivier Award winning Groundhog Day (Old Vic), Buffalo Bill in Annie Get Your Gun (Union Theatre), The Bird Sanctuary, The Mousetrap, Starlight Express, Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Singin’ In The Rain, Thenardier in Les Miserables & Herod/Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar (concert versions), The Rocky Horror Show, Gypsy, A Slice of Saturday Night, The Hired Man, A Chelsea Affair, Personals, Brothers of the Brush, First Love & First Blood, Laters, The Devil In The Vault, The Wizard Of Oz (three productions as The Tin Man), Seagull’s Dance, Can’t Stop The Music (world tour), The Wonderful Words of Sammy Cahn & Rock Legends (New Zealand, Sth Africa & USA) & Walter in Chess.

As a director: the Irish premiere of The Little Dog Laughed, A Dog Called Redemption (Winner: Best New Play – Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards & The Oscar Wilde Award for New Writing ), The Bird Sanctuary by Frank McGuinness (Critics’ Choice Time Out), Arrows (Winner: Willy Russell Foundation Award), The Devil In The Vault, Dolly DayDream, Out of The Sun, On A Day Like Today (Winner: Off-Cut Theatre Festival 2010), Back To Your Roots (Edinburgh Festival), New Boy, Personals, Beginning to End, The Actors’ Circle Showcase, Sitcom Trials & in-house director for Alligator Childrens’ Theatre. Also The Dressers (A New Musical) & Penny Jackson’s Bitten & Going Up (all at Dublin International Gay Theatre Festival - in 2011 Mark was presented with The Patrick Murray Award at the Festival).
