Esta Charkham has spent over 60 years in the entertainment industry, starting as an actress with the National Youth Theatre. Her casting credits include films such as Chariots of Fire, Scum, Quadrophenia, Supergirl, and Porridge. TV credits include The Professionals, Dick Turpin, Smuggler, Churchill: The Wilderness Years, Princess Daisy, The First Modern Olympics, Breaking Glass, and Robin of Sherwood. Theatre credits include Evita, Barmitzvah Boy, and the female version of Posh. As a producer, she worked on One Foot in the Grave (British Comedy Award), Birds of a Feather, Boon, and Robin of Sherwood. Esta has also been a guest lecturer at Arts Ed, Guildhall, Central School, and ALRA, and runs her own initiative in West London for 7-18-year-olds. Passionate about discovering and nurturing new talent, she has been running her own agency, Esta Charkham Associates, for the past twelve years.
